Statement:
This video will be an orientation video interviewing a diverse cross section of the student body.
Background and Need: New students watch a video during the orientation process. The current video is seven years old and a little out of date.
Approach, Form, and Study
I will create a video that interviews a student athlete, a scholarship winner, a student over 50, a student from the high flex classes, a student in worker retraining, a student who has taken the College 101 class, and a student using adaptive student services. With these, I will compile an orientation video or videos to be shown to new Peninsula college students.

Audience, Marketing, and Distribution
Our focus will be on new Peninsula College students. I will make the video available via Youtube and my website. I will share the video with the person in charge of orientation for the college. It is my hope that the video will be added to the orientation package given to new students.
Biography
Molly Dickson is a full-time Worker Retraining Student at Peninsula College. She enjoys her family, horses, needlepoint, gardening, and building birdhouses. Molly is in her second quarter and PC, so she is just getting started. She is pursuing a Multimedia Communications Degree.
